Former Colorado Governor and Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper is running for U.S. President in Election 2020.

Former Denver Mayor and Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is seeking the Democratic nomination for President in Election 2020.

According to the Denver Post, the former mayor and governor was an unknown when he first ran for mayor of Denver in 2003 and did things, like release his proposed budget for the city, and connected with voters in a way that defied odds.

In 2010, he became the first Denver mayor in 201 years elected governor of the state, according to his campaign website.
